Smartchase (“Smartchase”) is a strategic wealth coordination firm focused on supporting business owners through integrated financial planning and access to professional expertise.
Smartchase is not registered as:
• an investment dealer,
• a portfolio manager,
• an investment fund manager, or
• an insurance company.
Smartchase does not provide:
• securities trading or execution services,
• discretionary or non-discretionary portfolio management,
• investment recommendations or suitability determinations, or
• insurance underwriting or policy issuance.
Role of Licensed and Registered Professionals
Where services require registration or licensing under applicable laws—including securities, insurance, mortgage, or benefits legislation—those services are provided exclusively by appropriately licensed or registered professionals acting under their own regulatory authority and compliance obligations.
These professionals may be independent third parties or, in certain cases, affiliated with Smartchase. Any such affiliation is clearly and expressly disclosed to clients prior to the provision of regulated services.
All investment advice, securities transactions, insurance advice, mortgage brokerage services, or product recommendations are delivered solely by the licensed professional, not by Smartchase.
Smartchase’s Role
Smartchase’s role is limited to:
• strategic financial coordination,
• planning integration across disciplines, and
• facilitating access to licensed professionals and institutions.
Smartchase does not:
• hold itself out as a registrant,
• provide regulated advice,
• accept discretionary authority over client assets, or
• act as an agent of a registrant unless explicitly disclosed.
Relationships With Registered Firms and Affiliated Advisors
Smartchase may introduce clients to registered investment dealers, portfolio managers, insurance advisors, mortgage professionals, or other regulated service providers.
Some of these providers or advisors may be affiliated with Smartchase through ownership, employment, or contractual arrangements. Where such an affiliation exists:
• it is disclosed to the client in writing,
• the licensed professional continues to operate under their own registration, and
• all client agreements and regulatory disclosures are issued directly by the registrant.
Affiliation does not alter the regulatory responsibilities, fiduciary duties, or compliance obligations of the registered professional.
No Client Advice or Custody
Smartchase:
• does not hold custody over client assets,
• does not receive or hold client funds or securities, and
• does not provide personalized investment recommendations.
Clients make all decisions relating to investments, insurance, lending, or financial products in consultation with the appropriately licensed professional.
